Looking for a tranquil escape to get away to? Welcome to Dewar’s Inn and Cottages, a hidden gem of the Ottawa and Thousand Islands region of Ontario. In an area steeped in Canada’s rich history, we are a quiet, laid-back, adult oriented resort nestled on the banks of the majestic St. Lawrence River.
When it comes to history, Dewar’s Inn has its own special story. Built on the site of the Grenville Brewery, our cottages are built out of the brick remains of this once bustling enterprise. Our cottages stand as a reminder of the stories of those who worked there and bring life to the history of the brewery during prohibition.
Accommodations
At Dewar’s Inn, we are pleased to be able to offer three levels of accommodations, all include complimentary continental breakfast, high-speed Wi-Fi and air conditioning. The layout of the resort offers a healthier atmosphere with exterior entry to all units and well dispersed outdoor areas to relax and unwind.
Our six themed cottages offer a river view and can sleep four. The cottages are equipped with full kitchen, living area, gas fireplace, private deck with BBQ and full housekeeping services.
These six suites have a river view and offer the choice of either a Queen bed or two Double beds. These units also offer a fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, access to BBQ and many more amenities…
Five of our six Rooms offer the comfort of a queen bed, while one offers two Doubles. All of our Rooms offer the ambiance of a gas fireplace, original pine floors…
Policies
- Check-in time is at 3 p.m. and check-out time is at 11 a.m.
- All units are smoke-free. This includes no vaping and/or use of cannabis.
- Sorry, no pets.
- This is an adult-oriented property, sorry no children under 12.
- Cancelation policy applies to all reservations inquire at time of booking.
Please Note: To limit the contact between staff and guests, we have suspended the daily cleaning of the room.
All payments will be charged to the guests credit card one day in advance. The receipt and a room key will be left in the room for the day of arrival.
Any supplies required will be delivered to your door.
Depending on the pandemic situation, breakfast will either be delivered to the room or will be available for pickup.
Parking is free to all guests. Each parking spot is on a first-come, first-served basis, and there is no designated parking unless specified by the inn.
